Yes, FødeiNorge is completely free to download and use. There are no hidden costs or subscriptions.
How do I find the nearest birth facility?
The app uses your location to calculate drive times to all birth facilities in Norway. You can also search and filter based on amenities, facility type, and region.
Does the app store my personal data?
The app stores favorites, search history, and settings locally on your device. No personal data is sent to our servers. Read our privacy policy for more information.
What languages does the app support?
The app is available in Norwegian (Bokmål), English, Northern Sami, Lule Sami, Ukrainian, and Polish.
How do I use the contraction timer?
Open the contraction timer from the menu. Press "Start" when a contraction begins and "Stop" when it ends. The app automatically calculates intervals and duration.
The information about a facility is incorrect. What should I do?
